Happy Dog Fat Cat Board and Bath is located fifteen minutes off of State Rt.400. At the intersection of 400 and Rt.53 (just north of the North Georgia Premium Outlet Stores) go west onto Rt.53. Stay on Rt. 53 for seven or eight miles until you come to a stop sign in downtown Dawsonville. At the stop sign, take a left, go straight through town, half way around the old red brick courthouse that sits in the middle of the road. When you have gone half way around the courthouse, the signs will say that you are on Hwy 53 West heading towards Ellijay and Amicalola State Park. Stay on Hwy 53 West for approximately two miles,you will cross over Shoal Creek, bear right onto St. Hwy.183 (aka Elliott Family Parkway). The signs will still say that you are going towards Ellijay and Amicalola State Park. Happy Dog Fat Cat is down on your left about a half mile. Look for a sign with a dog and a cat on it and the street number is 733. There are separate directions if you are coming from Big Canoe or from Hwy. 5/515/525.
